Monika Duszyńska

Monika Duszyńska is an attorney-at-law specializing in legal advisory services for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare sectors. Since 1999, she has been assisting pharmaceutical companies, medical device and health food manufacturers, their subsidiaries, and distributors in matters requiring in-depth expertise in reimbursement, pharmaceutical law, and other sector-specific regulations. Her practice covers both strategic advisory work and comprehensive regulatory and legal support.
She advises on matters involving the registration of medicinal products, the marketing of medicinal products and medical devices, their advertising, manufacturing (including contract manufacturing), import, distribution, and compliance – including the permitted scope of interactions with healthcare professionals and patient organisations. HHer expertise encompasses reimbursement matters and intellectual property, with a particular focus on R&D agreements and licensing contracts covering industrial property rights and copyrights. She has taken part in numerous M&A transactions, conducting legal due diligence with a focus on regulations applicable to, among others, medicines, dietary supplements, and medical devices.
Monika is an active author and commentator on topics such as clinical trials, drug reimbursement, biological medicines and their substitution, as well as public funding of non-standard treatments. She has been consistently recognized by Chambers & Partners. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration and of Italian Philology at the University of Warsaw. She is fluent in English and also provides legal services in French, Italian, and Spanish.
