On December 5, 2016, Monika Duszyńska took part in an expert debate organized by the Polish Oncology Union together with the Institute of Political Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, devoted to health and national security. Monika Duszyńska took part in a session entitled "Social Solidarity as a determinant of the responsibility of the mature societies of the Old Continent for the weakest."
