On May 28, 2019, the Supreme Administrative Court maintained an important decision of the Patient Ombudsman regarding the interchange of biological drugs. The spokesman decided that the practice of one of the hospitals, consisting in making the patient to the patient, only on the result of the tender, is inconsistent with the indications of current medical knowledge and constitutes a violation of collective patients' rights. This precedent case should set new standards in ordinary biological drugs, where the doctor should play a key role. In the proceedings by the Provincial Administrative Court and the Supreme Administrative Court, Monika Duszyńska represented Pro Bono of the Polish Union of Patient Organization "Citizens for Health", which as one of the three social organizations defended the position of the spokesperson.
